A broken heart represented the hurt

Why

Just like glass, the heart is fragile

And no matter how many times you stitch it up

It still hurts, and hurts, and hurts

Story continues below advertisement

He wasn’t the person you thought he was

He took your heart and ran with it

He took your love and laughed at it

Though his words seem well, his actions hurt

He makes you feel, less like you

With every argument you question “is it worth it”

You deserve more because you are more

A beautiful, wild, free hearted spirit

Who searches for someone to show you, you are.

She wasn’t what you were looking for

But she came and stayed

Tattering with the way you viewed things

You weren’t ready for someone to be ready for you

So she scares you and you turn your back

In her time of need, she looks at you

You don’t think you’re ready for a girl like that

So you fight and you hurt her

Just to get away from something good

              Why?
