NEED TO BREATHE

I was too close, I need some air

This one sided fighting isn’t fair

I want to go back to the times where you used to care

When we used to lay and I play with your hair

Lately we’re distant and i don’t know how I bear
I ran out of chances, none to spare

I just need to heal and prepare

From time away from you where I can repair

Away from the shots fired in this warfare

I know I’ll find the right one somewhere
