Quitting her job to begin writing books, Julie Buxbaum has now written five novels.

Introduction

Julie Buxbaum, a successful author, has written and published a variety of novels. The teen romance novel, Tell Me Three Things, was published on April 15, 2016. Ever since the release of this novel, people all over the world have bought copies.

Meet the author

The author, Julie Buxbaum is an author of many well-known novels. Some of her novels include After you, and  What to say next. Originally a lawyer, she realized that being an author was best for her. Summary

Jessie Homes, a teenage girl starts a new school, knowing no one but her step-brother, the janitor. Mourning the death of her mother, and overwhelmed by her new home, she doesn’t blend in. Jessie goes to school one day after a few days of going to her new school and receives an anonymous message from someone. The message instantly caught her attention as she saw that it was from Somebody Nobody ([email protected]). The anonymous writer and Jessie build a friendship over the computer but it still leaves Jessie wondering who the person is. This friendship then evolves into something more over time. It is only a matter of time in which the name is revealed, leaving some readers shocked.

Opinion

After reading this teen romance novel for the second time, I fell in love with it all over again. The novel is very well written and overall has a very good storyline. The emailing back and forth did however get boring after a while. But as the story continued the communication between the two became more interesting. I truly enjoyed this book and would definitely read it again. As for other reader’s opinions, they seem to feel the same way as me. On Goodreaders.com many comments/reviews include words such as, “loved it,” and “funny,” along with “delightful.” One of my favorite comments is “Where can I find myself a SN???????” All in all, between my opinion and the opinion of others, it was a pretty good book.

Many reviews on various websites were positive, not to mention the fact that the novel won A New York Times Bestseller. The novel is perfect for high school teens interested in romance. The author incorporated some comedy into the novel, which makes it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Tell Me Three Things,  I would not hesitate to pick it up again and read it from start to finish.
