Abigail Araujo, Reporter
Abigail Araujo is a senior student attending Colonia High School. She is active in clubs and sports, however, soccer is her main sport. She is a four year varsity athlete, being captain of the varsity team since her sophomore year. Besides being captain, she has been recognized multiple times by winning awards such as MVP and top goal scorer. She is a member of the SnowShredders Club, as snowboarding is one of her favorite winter hobbies. Outside of school, she lives at home with her mother, 24 year old sister, stepdad, and her three dogs. Two of her dogs are Labradors and the other is a mini poodle/chihuahua mix. During the summer, she visits Portugal as she is 100% Portuguese. Lastly, Araujo dreams of becoming a search and rescue pilot and attending the United States Coast Guard Academy with that being her dream school.
