Nowadays, we can hardly imagine a world without the Internet. It’s totally understandable, given the great services that have stemmed from the Internet boom. Shows like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime have changed the streaming game. The days of having to tune in live to watch your favorite shows are over. Even better than that, you can virtually stream on any design you wish, with just a small monthly fee. Now the question is, which streaming service is right for you?

Generally, Netflix is seen as the “best” streaming service yet it cost’s more than Hulu Plus, Ranging from $7.99-$11.99 depending on what plan you get. It certainly doesn’t come as the cheapest option per month. Yet it also has the most popular TV shows and movies. You can choose from the family or individual plan. Family allows you to have more than 2 viewers at once, which is convenient if you decide to watch a show with a friend. In addition to the better selection, Netflix also has allowed content to be downloaded. While not all of the shows can be watched offline, you can view it with Internet on virtually any device.

Although that may seem tough to beat, Hulu Plus is also a great alternative to Netflix, it does have a different selection of shows that Netflix doesn’t always offer, like Americas Next Top Model and Hells Kitchen. Hulu’s movie selection is also strays away from unknown directors and Indie films. It comes at a respectable $7.99 per month. It offers neither downloadable content and or multiple devices to view all at once. At the end of the day, it all boils down to which service has your favorite show. That’s truly the art of these new streaming services. While variety is key to a good service, the addiction lies in late nights spent binge watching your favorite series.
